| I've gotten a job as a bus driver. This is pretty much my dream
job (that is through the university and that I can hold very easily
while still being a full-time college student).
The training schedule is a little ridiculous, but I guess they're eager to get us newbies out there driving:
Thursday 5:30-8:30
Friday 5:30-8:30
Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 1:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Sunday 1 pm - 7 pm
That's 21 hours of work in 4 days. Most of that time will be
spent driving the buses around with a trainer, trying desperately to
not crash. I will be getting paid $6.50/hour for my efforts so
that's, what, $136.50 before taxes? Not too shabby.
Last night myself and a few others decided to sit around and drink and
watch the Houston Astros play the Atlanta Braves. Although the
Astros lost, I think we had a good time. I'm expanding my beer
experience slowly, but I guess it's just a taste that I'm still
acquiring because most beers I come into contact with aren't so
good. Drinking isn't as fun as I had hoped it would be and I
think I know why: most of my friends are under 21 so I can't really
enjoy drinking with some of my closest friends. boo hoo
In other news I still love buying cds...I own U2's Achtung Baby and Joshua Tree now
as well as Led Zeppelin's I and IV
This was a "what's going on in Andrew's life post" and it is now over
edit:
I might have screwed up the name of the team from Atlanta in the post earlier...I blame the alcohol.

| We live under tyranny. The government monopoly known as "the
United States Postal Service" is slowly killing us. We can fight
back; there is a solution. Stop sending mail!

| I got a new (to me) bike today from Jonathan. It's in pretty
terrible shape, so I hope to fix it up and learn about bikes in the
process!
